Pack 518 Young Patriots

I enjoyed sharing our Traveling Trunk program with such an attentive audience!

Attached is the application that can be used to request a certificate from our organization for a child that reads at least 3 books about the people, places, events, or lifestyles of the American Revolution. They can send me the form with the name to be used on the certificate and a return address at:

Terry Manning
1201 Timber Glen Ct.
Lilburn, GA 30047

A parent can also just e-mail me the titles and authors of the three books to temanning@aol.com. The form itself is not required.

Any books that fall into their reading age are acceptable. Those about Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Paul Revere, Flag history, battles of the Revolutionary War, etc. are typical examples.

Yours in patriotism,

Terry Manning

"My Bear Scout is better prepared for household emergencies; he seems to know exactly what to do when anything unexpected happens."

- Maria Waggoner, Pack 518

"My son was shy and slow to build relationships. Now, after many activities, weekend camp-outs, and summer day camp together, my son has formed strong bonds with other boys and feels like he belongs to a special group. I love what Scouts has done for his confidence level."

- Christine Burrell, Pack 518
